integrated branding campaign
This large scale project was a comprehensive rebrand of the Roswell UFO Festival, renamed Extraterrfestival. It is a celebration of the 1947 Roswell Incident, in which a supposed UFO crashed in Roswell, New Mexico. The colors are punchy, retro, and other worldly. The theme was to use the aesthetic of vintage postcards to capture the moment and go back in time. It is designed to be mysterious, only showing overt alien imagery in a very limited way, to keep excitement for the festival as high as it was back in 1947. The branding package includes advertisements, promotions, and various merchandise, including unique luggage tags to evoke the idea of space travel.
